Letters & fragments
Each inventory follows the numbering of an identified edition. “Complete” refers to that edition and document type; it does not claim to cover every surviving document by the philosopher.
The coverage labels distinguish fully indexed corpora from lists that remain partial.
Diogenes Laertius X; R. D. Hicks (1925), PerseusDL
Partial inventory for this editionFour individually identified letters: the three doctrinal epitomes and the last-day letter. Numbers refer to Diogenes Laertius sections, not a universal letter numbering. Fragmentary correspondence and recipients mentioned elsewhere remain to be inventoried; this set is not claimed to be complete.

Complete inventory for this editionAll 81 Bailey numbers were checked in the complete facsimile, including repeated Principal Doctrines and sayings attributed to other members of the school. LVI and LVII are transmitted together but retain their two numbers. Completeness is limited to this mixed collection; it does not establish Epicurus’ authorship of every saying or cover all Usener fragments or papyri.
