eKGWB · Briefe an Nietzsche · 1881–1883 · 168

Each inventory follows the numbering of an identified edition. “Complete” refers to that edition and document type; it does not claim to cover every surviving document by the philosopher.

All 168 received letters actually published in the three eKGWB tables for 1881, 1882 and 1883 are included. Completeness applies only to those tables, not to all letters Nietzsche received. Other years require the volumes and inventories of the Kritische Gesamtausgabe correspondence edition. These documents are testimony from their senders, not writings by Nietzsche.
